Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of her team in the US women's Olympic gymnastics The 2012 Fierce 5 team, and in the year 2016. She was named the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze medal for the balance beam. That made her the very first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. The year she was in 2016, and teammates Gabby Doug and Gabby Doug were the very first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Furthermore, she was awarded two silver medals for the floor exercise as well as individual all-around. The three years that passed between her two Olympic Games, she took a break. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American teams in 2 World Championships. As a young girl She began learning gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is the floor exercise. Aly has joined in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandmother. As for the future, she is planning to create a profession out of fashion. It is also her goal to extend her leotards line and sock collection. Fierce is her first book, which she plans to release later this year.
